Tom’s informed and often light-hearted approach to presenting, gets messages across to audiences in a credible and easily digestible form.
His engaging and inclusive manner sees him presenting for life-long learning organisations such as the U3A, at school careers days, for businesses such as British Sugar and the National Trust, and across the globe for the Abu Dhabi Young Musician of the Year Competition and McKinsey and Co’s ‘Resonate’ festival in Austria.
Tom is no stranger to delivering high quality, informed, and digestible presentations on a wide range of topics.
He presented on ‘The Importance of Partnership Working’ at the Music Mark Annual Conference in Sheffield. He regularly delivers CPD sessions for educators on themes such as fundraising, inclusive repertoire, conducting skills, and healthy singing technique. He was the face of numerous ‘How to’ videos for the 210,000 children from Aberdeen to the Isle of White who took part in ‘Rapunzel: The Lockdown Panto’ from home and school in 2020.
As a Music for Youth Mentor, Tom is often seen giving live musical feedback in front of audiences in venues such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, Rochdale Town Hall and Snape Maltings. He has presented the Choir of the Year Competition final at the Glasshouse International Centre for Music, and is a regular podcast guest on Music Matters and elsewhere.
